What is Spiritual Eco Adventures?
This exciting new venture brings nature and spirit together through meaningful outdoor adventures combined with spiritual teachings and rituals like honouring the elements (earth, water, fire and air) and taking care of our bodies and minds (i.e. yoga/stretching/meditation).
With 1 in 4 Canadians now identifying as having anxiety, depression or PTSD, this type of programming is more important than ever before as nature has incredible healing qualities: lowers the stress hormone cortisol, improves breathing, relaxes the nervous system, provides a sense of calm and grounding, reduces anxiety and depression, improves mood, cultivates connection, rejuvenates body, mind and soul.
Eco Adventure Programs
Spiritual Nature Hikes
The first program being offered is guided Spiritual Nature Hikes that blend yogic and other spiritual teachings with key learnings from my naturalist training (i.e. animal tracking and identification, wildlife photography, identifying local flora and fauna, etc.). The intention of this program is to slow down, enjoy the journey, connect with a like-minded community and learn new things while taking care of ourselves and the earth.
Stay tuned for spiritual kayaking sessions, snowshoeing, seasonal retreats and more coming soon!
